Shawn O’Neill

Shawn O’Neill is a Senior Advisor to Silver Lake. Shawn joined Silver Lake in 2011 as a founder of the Silver Lake Waterman strategy. Shawn continues to be the Managing Partner of SLW, which is now sub-advised for Silver Lake by an independent investment adviser. He has been an investor in and strategic advisor to leading technology companies for nearly 30 years. Prior to Silver Lake, Shawn founded Bandon Partners, a boutique investment bank, and was the CFO of two venture-backed companies. He was previously an investment banker with Morgan Stanley, DMG Technology Group and Lehman Brothers. Shawn holds a B.B.A. from the University of Texas, where he graduated with honors and is on the Dean’s Advisory Board of the McCombs School of Business.
