Lak Lakshmanan

Lak Lakshmanan joined Silver Lake in 2022 as an Operating Executive, Data Science and AI. Prior to Silver Lake, he was the Director for Data Analytics and AI Solutions at Google Cloud and a Research Scientist at NOAA. He co-founded Google’s Advanced Solutions Lab, has authored several books, and was elected a Fellow of the American Meteorological Society for his data science work. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Ohio State University, and a B.Tech from IIT Madras.
