Clancy Childs

Clancy Childs joined Silver Lake in 2023 and is an Operating Executive. Prior to Silver Lake, he was Chief Product Officer at Signal AI, a natural language processing and applied AI startup, where oversaw the product strategy driving growth in international markets and new use cases.

Prior to Signal AI, Clancy held positions in product management, data and technology in a variety of start-ups and established businesses. This included six years at Dow Jones as Chief Product & Technology Officer of the professional information business where he led product development of Factiva, Risk & Compliance and Newswires as well as an innovation business unit developing a knowledge graph of Dow Jones news and data. Earlier in his career, he was the Product Manager for Google Analytics where he launched Google Analytics Premium and related big-data integrations with Google Cloud Platform.

Clancy holds an M.B.A. with distinction from London Business School and a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Michigan.
